Stamford Strings
3 St Leonards' Street, Stamford, Lincs, pe9 2hu
Stamford Strings is passionate about new making and showcases instruments from new makers, alongside antique violins, many of which are restored in-house. We restore, repair and conserve instruments and provide an appraisal and insurance certificate service. Bow repairs and rehairs are provided by a skilled specialist for this work who works remotely.
Stamford Strings caters for all players, age ranges and abilities, from student to professional. We don't stock a lot of student instruments due to lack of space and demand. However, we can order these in by special request, so do not hesitate to ask.
Stamford Strings also has a great range of instrumental bows, cases and accessories. We specialise in Bows for Violin Viola and Cello and some of our accessories for Violins and Cellos are designed and made by us or directly for us.
For more details on how to find us see the map below and the description.
