A great French trade violin, unlabelled, but probably from the early twentieth century, with rich red-brown varnish with a beautiful naturally worn patina on the back. The woodwork is sharp and delicate, as is typical of a French violin from this period. The violin has had an extensive restoration by renowned restorer Anna Kuch. It is set up with a Wittner tailpiece and Ebony pegs. It has a warm tone and beautiful sound.
