Mathieu Fourrier

Mathieu trained at Newark and worked for Philip Ihle from 2018 to 2024. He is considered to be one of Europe's top makers and now runs his own workshop in Austria. This violin was made in 2015 and so has a matured sound. It is a bench copy of The Strad Huberman and antiqued to copy this instrument too. It has been set up by Mathieu and has Evah Pirazzi Gold strings and ebony fittings and retains its Mathieu Fourrier bridge.
