Offered for sale, this beautiful cello is based on a Stradivari model part-made by Arnold Boyes and donated to the RAB Trust. It was completed in 2021 by trustees Helen Michetschläger and Mark Robinson, and former award winners Sam Brouwer, Mathieu Fourrier and Alina Ehret. After the costs of the sale have been deducted, all proceeds will go to the RAB Trust.
In our opinion, this is a unique and wonderful cello with a fabulous history, and practically perfect in every way. In our sound tests, it scores 10/10 for playability, looks and sound.
