We have a wide range of instruments and bows available for rent under our rental scheme. We also have high grade instruments available from time to time on a long-term loan scheme, designed specifically for talented students. You need a recommendation from your teacher to take part in this scheme. We also run a rental scheme for schools renting out instruments in bulk, which is heavily discounted from the individual instrument prices. Contact us for more details.

We believe that every player deserves an instrument that will facilitate their development and enjoyment. All instruments are set up in our Stamford Strings workshop to our stringent standards. You may find you can rent elsewhere more cheaply, but you should consider the level of care and attention that is given to the set up of rental instruments when making your choice of where to rent from.

Another advantage of renting from us is that if you decide to buy your instrument you can do so after three or six months of renting, with 70% of the cost of the rent you have already paid being deducted from the purchase price.

After twelve months of renting the same instrument, benefit from a 25% discount on the monthly rental.
