Jon standen Cello c. 2009 - £4,000

A brand new addition to the Stamford Strings Cello Collection. This cello was made by Jon Standen, who lived in Inverness, in 2009. This maker worked for Colin Irving, and the cello is well made and in perfect condition.

The cello has had a new bridge cut in our workshop by Libby, and new strings. We test a range of strings on all our cellos before finalising our choice to make sure the strings suit the instrument. This cello chose Larsen for the A and D and Jargar for the G and C.

The cello would suit an advancing student leaving school for conservatoire or university to help them progress their cello studies.
