Thijs was an award winning student at The Newark School of Violin Making. He went on to work in a workshop in Berlin and now works for Robin Aitchison in Ely making cellos. His work is outstanding. This violin, made whilst he was at Newark is based on a Strad model and is set up by the maker with Dominant Strings.
