Brazenose Violins

Brazenose Violins are a new brand of instruments created by violin makers and players to deliver high quality performance, maximum playability and a powerful, even sound.

Our workshop in Europe is set at the foot of the forest where the wood is has been growing for centuries. Our luthiers harvests the wood, season it, and create instruments from it that are then shipped to our workshop in Stamford for varnishing and setting up.

We make our own varnish using an tried and tested 18th century recipe, with quality natural ingredients. Our top range instruments are individually varnished by hand in our workshop in Stamford, England. The lower grade instruments are varnished before shipping, and then set up in Stamford.

Every instrument is given a professional set up by our in house team of expert luthiers.
All are master craftsmen, trained at internationally renowned violin making schools.
