The Brasenose Fuoco Artisan Cello was crafted with a young professional in mind. It has an open and easy response but delivers greater colour and tonal range when pushed to its limits. It is perfect for cellists who will work to illicit the sound they want from an instrument. It's naturally antiqued finish will appeal to those who want a more sophisticated look and an older sound.
Brazenose Instruments is a new brand set up in 2021 by Stamford Strings. Our team wanted to use our skills and expertise, honed over many years of craftsmanship, to create a hand made range of violins, violas and cellos for the discerning player looking for a great sound, ultimate playability and practicality. The Fuoco Cello is the mid range instrument, crafted with the advanced student and semi-professionals in mind. Professional grade, with a superb set up and a sonorous, warm yet powerful tone. The instruments are a collaboration between our luthiers in Europe and our luthiers in the UK.
