Brazenose Instruments is a new brand set up in 2021 by Stamford Strings. Our team wanted to use our skills and expertise, honed over many years of craftsmanship, to create a hand made range of violins, violas and cellos for the discerning player looking for a great sound, ultimate playability and practicality. The Aria Artisan Cello is crafted with the young professional cellist in mind. Professional grade, with a superb set up and a sonorous, warm yet powerful tone. The instruments are a collaboration between our luthiers in Europe and our luthiers in the UK. This cello has been varnished by our Director Libby Summers and honed and refined over months of work in the Stamford workshop.
